What is Initia?
Initia is a Layer 1 blockchain built using the Cosmos SDK. It is designed to streamline the development and deployment of app chains. Its architecture combines an orchestration layer with a tightly integrated Layer 2 ecosystem of modular rollups known as Minitias.
The network removes the need for separate validator sets, enabling developers to launch scalable and interoperable app chains easily. With support for MoveVM, WasmVM, and EVM and integration with Celestia for data availability, Initia provides the flexibility and scalability needed to build sovereign blockchain applications.
